Bitcoin, created in 2009, is a digital currency. It was created based on a paper, self published by Satoshi Nakamoto. It enables very speedy method of payments. But, the cost is very low and does not need central authorities need issuers. Just only ten minutes are required to confirm the payment process. The transactions of Bitcoin are digitally signed. In one node there will be sign over some amount of the currency and then broadcast to all other nodes in network. The network is connected with a P2P. To measure against double spending system, there is a system named proof of work. An initial currency distribution method is also followed in this method.

There are no refunds in the BitCoin system as it works on a “get paid stay paid” policy. Transactions can conflict because of sending same bit coins. The payment is displayed to the receiver instantly but they are not confirmed. When the Bitcoin is processed by the network, more than one number of confirmations is added and finally the confirmation is displayed by the software.
